Professor Cathy Humphreys

We were thrilled to have Professor Cathy Humphreys facilitate this event, and we are grateful for all of her input and assistance on the day.

Cathy Humphreys is Professor of Social Work at the University of Melbourne and a well-published author. She is Co-Chair of the Melbourne Research Alliance to End Violence Against Women and Their Children (MAEVe). Recent research projects with her team include three projects with the Safe & Together Institute. Other projects include evaluations of recovery and healing programs for women and children; evaluation of Caring Dads; and the evaluation of Positive Shift, a group work program for women who use force.
