The OPEN Evaluation Community of Practice brings together evidence practitioners (those who have evaluation and research responsibilities - or interest) in the child and family service sector to support collaboration and professional learning and self-development.

The Evaluation CoP is open to those who have data collection, evaluation or research responsibilities (or interests) in organisations which support children and families.
Members are from diverse organisations, regions and with varied backgrounds to foster robust discussion and knowledge sharing. The Group adopts a strengths-based inquiry approach where members teach and learn from each other irrespective of position – differences of expertise and experience are a strength, there to explore and learn from.
Meetings include a combination of unstructured and more formal content with informal sharing and troubleshooting of issues identified by members and formal presentations, training or tips from members or guests on common areas of interest.
