The Menu is an online searchable repository that brings together information on evidence-based practices and programs to support the design of services, practice and policies.
Developed using a robust and consultative approach, the Menu is designed to meet the needs of the Victorian service system by including information on effectiveness, implementation, cost, and whether there is evidence specific to Aboriginal children and families or other Victorian communities.
The session included an overview of the project and a walkthrough of the website, and a presentation on OPEN’s role in building sector capability in evaluation and research to build local evidence. We had a great turn-out on the day, and many thought-provoking questions to give clarity too the Menu’s role in helping our sector build the evidence base.
