Launch of New Tools to Support Children Facing Technology-Facilitated Abuse
On 5 September 2025, in partnership with the Centre for Excellence in child and Family Welfare, eSafety launched a new suite of practical tools for frontline workers supporting children and young people experiencing technology-facilitated abuse in the context of domestic, family, and sexual violence.
Key highlights launched during the session include:
In the session, we heard from the Centre’s Rebecca Duggan, who shared practical insights on how practitioners can use these new eSafety tools in their work with children and young people. Her contribution highlights real-world strategies for embedding the resources into everyday practice, ensuring they support safe and meaningful engagement with those affected by technology-facilitated abuse.
These tools complement eSafety’s wider suite, including tailored safety-planning guides, a tech-audit tool, specialised resources for children, First Nations people, and those with disabilities, plus access to real-time support through their Technology-Facilitated Abuse Support Service.
